Dr. Gilliam worked full time in the clinical setting utilizing and refining the SFMA evaluation and treatment process with patients of all ages from 2005-2013. From 2012-2014 he served as adjunct faculty at Belmont University’s School of Physical Therapy where he focused on the SFMA, orthopedics, and sports medicine. His driving passion has always been maximizing sports performance through improved functional movement, and in late 2013 he went into business for himself as a consultant for professional and collegiate teams as well as individual professional athletes and entertainers. Through his consultation work Brandon was offered and accepted a position with the Miami Heat as their Assistant Athletic Trainer and Director of Rehabilitation in September 2014. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the SFMA.
