PT Training FAQ

Does Advances in Clinical Education provide continuing education credits?
Advances in Clinical Education provides each participant with a certificate of completion at the completion of each course. Certificates are given out at the course. All courses are pre-approved for PT continuing education credit within the state the seminar is taught when pre-approval is required. All of our courses are approved for continuing education credit through NATA-BOC.
Where can I find a schedule for upcoming continuing education courses?
The schedule for all continuing education courses is available here. We update our course schedule as new dates and locations are confirmed.
How do I register for a continuing education course?
You can register online for CEU courses. Or you can call our office at 503-642-4462 to register. We have a registration form available on the website for you to download. Mail your registration to: Advances in Clinical Education, 17675 SW Farmington Rd, PMB 182, Aloha, OR 97007.
Are your courses only open to Physical Therapists?
No, all healthcare professionals can take our continuing education courses.
Is parking provided at the course location?
No, you are responsible for your own parking. We try to utilize locations that offer free parking, but that is not always possible.
Is lunch provided?
No, participants will be on their own for lunch. We will have a continental breakfast in the morning and have water available all day.
What should I wear?
We ask that you wear comfortable loose fitting clothing that will allow participation in lab sessions. Athletic type shoes are suggested. Sometimes the rooms tend to be on the cool side it is a good idea to bring a sweater or jacket.
I have recently sustained an injury and may not be able to fully participate in the lab sessions, what is the requirement for participation?
We break into small groups for our lab sessions. You can participate as much as you are comfortable with and watch those activities you are not able to participate in. You can still participate in all group discussion even if you are unable to participate in some of the lab sessions.
